We are especially proud to celebrate our owner, Jill.
Jill’s love for wine began when she was just a little girl, making wine with her father. The photo attached captures one of those early moments that helped spark a lifelong appreciation for the craft.
Her mother is from France, where wine is deeply woven into everyday life and culture. That influence helped shape Jill’s appreciation for wine and the way it brings people together around a table.
Later in life, one of Jill’s most meaningful traditions was sharing a glass of wine each evening with her mother. It became their time to talk about the day and enjoy each other’s company. Even after her mother crossed over, that connection to wine remained close to her heart.
Over the years Jill continued studying wine and food pairings and earned her WSET Level 2 certification, deepening her knowledge of the craft she had loved since childhood.
What began as a childhood memory and personal passion eventually grew into a dream. Jill followed that dream and purchased North Mountain Vineyard & Winery, creating a place where people can gather, slow down, and enjoy wine the way it was meant to be shared.
Today we celebrate Jill and all the incredible women who pursue their passions and build something meaningful for their communities.
