As many of you may have heard, Jill is the founder and owner of the Ravenwood Foundation, a nonprofit organization based in Winchester, Virginia, dedicated to empowering youth, enriching communities, and helping young people successfully grow from adolescence to adulthood through family, education, and civic duty. The foundation hosts quarterly youth-focused events in Winchester, all rooted in this mission.
One of the Ravenwood Foundation’s largest and most impactful fundraisers each year is the Ravenwood Faire, a magical, immersive event that brings history, fantasy, artisans, performers, and community together for a truly unforgettable experience. Think renaissance/medieval faire! Proceeds from the faire directly support the foundation’s programs and outreach for local youth.
In addition to supporting youth initiatives, a portion of the proceeds from the Ravenwood Faire is also donated to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation, helping fund critical research and awareness efforts.
Since Jill has taken over North Mountain Vineyard & Winery, and with the rapid growth of the Ravenwood Faire in recent years, it became clear that the Frederick County Fairgrounds in Clearbrook could no longer accommodate the size and vision of the event. With its expansive property, scenic views, and welcoming atmosphere, North Mountain Vineyard & Winery is proud to become the new home of the Ravenwood Faire.
Hosting the faire at the winery allows us to continue growing this beloved event while staying deeply connected to our shared values of community, creativity, and giving back. We are honored to support the Ravenwood Foundation’s mission and excited to welcome guests to experience the magic of the Ravenwood Faire in its new home.
