Covid-19 Policies and Guidelines for Visitors
North Mountain Winery will be participating in the Phase One Reopening of Businesses in Virginia beginning Saturday, May 16th. Our guests may picnic on our lawns and available picnic tables. Our indoor facilities including restrooms and our decks are still closed at this time.
- There is a porta-potty behind the deck! We sanitize it regularly. There is hand sanitizer inside the porta-potty.
- We encourage you to bring your own blanket, chairs, wine glasses, and food and enjoy our outdoor lawns. Picnic tables may be reserved and will be spray sanitized between groups.
- We are not offering any food or wine tastings.
- TO ORDER WINE OR A WINE GLASS: Call 540-436-9463, give us your credit card information, and we will bring your order out front to you. We are selling by the bottle only; either closed, or chilled and open.
- Bring your own wine glasses. North Mountain logo wine glasses are available for sale, but we cannot reuse wine glasses handled by guests.
- No groups of more than 10 and please do not join other groups, and socially distance at least 6 feet between other groups and employees.
- Dogs must remain on leash.
- Our employees wash their hands regularly, and will wear gloves and mask for all interactions with customers.
- We encourage customers to wear masks when interacting with other groups and employees.
- Lawn gaming is not allowed (to avoid people from different groups congregating). This was in the Governor’s decree so that is why we mention it specifically.
- Per Virginia ABC laws, alcohol not sold at North Mountain is not permitted on premises.
- Any visitors or employees that are sick or have displayed symptoms of Covid-19 are not allowed on the premises.
