Established
North Mountain Vineyard & Winery becomes part of the Shenandoah Valley wine landscape.
Estate story, current chapter
A Shenandoah Valley vineyard shaped by estate fruit, European farmhouse character, and renewed stewardship.
North Mountain
Nestled in Virginia's Shenandoah Valley, North Mountain Vineyard & Winery has been part of the landscape since 1982. The current Estate & Vine chapter began on October 31, 2025, with a focus on honoring the property's old-world character while sharpening the guest experience.
The winery building draws on European farmhouse architecture, creating a welcoming place for guided tastings, relaxed glasses by the fire, and gatherings in the Great Room.
Outside, expansive lawns, picnic tables, flower gardens, decks, and vineyard views invite guests to slow down. Bring a picnic, watch the seasons move across the vines, and check the calendar for live music, food trucks, festivals, and wine gatherings.
Legacy
North Mountain Vineyard & Winery becomes part of the Shenandoah Valley wine landscape.
Grapes are grown on the property and translated into wines tied to the site's soils, slopes, and seasons.
The winery hosts tastings, live music, private gatherings, and seasonal events with a relaxed, local welcome.
